Evaluation Question 4: “How did you use media technologies in the construction and research, planning and evaluation stages?”

Pinterest:

I have answered this question in the form of a collage, with the use of the image sharing site ‘Pinterest’. In the collage I have included an image of the media technology which I used, then a brief explanation of what the technology is and how it enabled me to finish my advanced portfolio.

Notes:

A limitation of Pinterest is that it only allocates a certain number of characters in the description of each photograph. The character limit meant that, in some instances, I was unable to fully record my analysis of certain media technologies. Although, in general, I was able to conduct my analysis within the limited amount of space.

Overview:

Throughout the entirety of my coursework I have used a range of different media technologies, many of which were essential in enabling me to research, plan and produce my music video. I would say that the most helpful pieces of media technology were ‘Adobe Premier Pro’ and ‘Edublogs’, as without them my advanced portfolio would be very less presentable. Another thing to mention would be that the ‘GoPro Hero 3’ was central to the creation of our narrative clips and was extremely useful as it enabled us to record a series of hands-free POV shots.
