My first photo shoot for my music magazine ‘Pop Party’ is upcoming and for the photo shoot I aim to use the camera skills that I have learnt over the past few weeks to communicate my brand ideas for my music magazine being ‘Pop Party’. I aim to implement quite a few camera techniques and angles to create a meaning behind the images that I take. For example I will implement low angle shots as well as high angle shots in addition I will include close up shots, mid shots, medium close ups and may include different types of shots whilst taking my photos, I may consider and play using different settings on the dslr such as the aperture on the camera or put it on portrait mode for a vertical photograph which is effective and be more suited to the images that I am taking.
Furthermore, I will aim to include what I’ve learnt in terms of the mise en scene that I have learnt over the past few weeks to communicate my brand ideas for my music magazine being ‘Pop Party’. For example, costume will be vital in creating an image for me genre so my audience essentially what my genre is and know what they’re going to be indulging themselves into and by portraying my genre of pop via costume and the use of props to create depth in my image. I will play around with the lighting whilst in the studio and try to get the lighting right to convey my genre of pop for ‘Pop Party’ via high key and low key lighting on my model.
I will be ready with the previous weeks worth of learning about camera and the use of mise en scene in my image and I will aim to use all the skills that I have learnt while taking photos in my photo shoot coming up for my pop genre music magazine ‘Pop Party’.
