Shoot 1 Reflection (Performance)

Me and Bea based our first performance shoot at her dads event studio, this was the plain white room where the story of feeling lonely and trapped begins. The first few minutes of filming and lip syncing was good and gradually got better as we both got another feel of the beat and feel of the music and what facial expressions I wanted to include into our music video. In this particular shoot Bea did most of the filming as I was the one who had to be in most of this bit of the music video for this part. I did however shoot some bits of it where I did not have to be present in the music video, for example the scenes where the father figure is present alone. I also helped frame and angle the photography for the pictures below.

After reviewing our footage, we set some targets for our next location shoot which are:

  • Use a variety of different angles
  • Use different areas of the location so that its not in the same background all the time
  • More shots with different lighting in it
  • For me to know the full words by the time of our next shoot

We will do all of these things for our next shoot to make the best possible music video that we can make. For our next shoot we will be shooting in a dark space with dim lighting and this is where we will be using all of our targets that we have to achieve in that shoot. I will also make sure that I am wearing a different outfit to the first shoot as this will make the music video more interesting to the audience.
