Adverts
As well as creating a front cover, content page and double page spread for my magazine. I also have to find two full page adverts which has to go into my magazine. I should be looking for adverts that will fit my genre that my magazine is however keeping in mind that it has to appeal to my target audience.
I chose an Ariana Grande tour poster and an X Factor audition poster as Ariana is a pop singer which fits perfectly with the genre of my magazine and the x factor poster is all about finding the perfect singer which comes into pop. I used my dating profile which I created to help me pull in and attract my target audience and I think that both these adverts fit my narrative.

Research
I have had to do some research on my genre for my magazine to be able to fulfil every aspect to a music magazine and include it into mine to create the best possible magazine to crab the audiences attention.
Creativity
During the process of creating my magazine I have had to use my imagination in certain instances to include ideas which would contribute to the quality of the magazine.
Leadership
I have had to take a leadership role which included me organising times for my shoot in the studio and inform my star model of the conventions of a pop female artist (clothes and jewellery) so that I was prepared for the shoot.

Design Skills 2
Design skills and production techniques I have acquired
Using InDesign I have discovered these simple tools which allowed me to create boxes shapes and draw lines on my image.
In addition to this I have also learnt how to properly use the eyedropper tool to replicate a colour to the exact same colour to photoshop an image.
All of these tools and more have been very useful in the production of my magazine. They make the quality of the images look more professional e.g the gradient tool allows you to give you a gradual blend between multiple colours and make it more vibrant which was useful for my genre pop.

I managed to create all my pages which were to a suitable standard including all the conventions needed for each page.

By using these tools from Photoshop and InDesign, for example the lasso tool helped me cut of my star model making her more visible and using Photoshop to sharpen my model making her stand out and making the product more appealing to the audience which makes them want to buy it and read it.

What is a Contents Page?
Content pages are used to direct and guide the reader to certain content which they would like to read about. By using this the reader can easily flip through pages to go to exactly what they’re interested in making this efficient as they hook and intrigue the reader.

Targets
Front Cover
- Re-position the alignment of the cover lines
- Change the order of the titles at the bottom
- Add more artists under ‘featuring’
- Add a cover line relating to pop so audience the knows
Contents Page
- Make Laura look a little less stretched
- Add more content to cover lines
- Need to add a page number
DPS
- Dont overuse the mini pink clouds
- Spacing between ‘Angel musician’ and ‘Spirals into her destiny’ are not the same
- Need to delete hyphens at the side of the page
- Move the text further to the right to avoid the crease of the page
- Dont centre the text (alignment)
My success criterias for my next draft are
- Format certain text so that they’re all aligned symmetrically
- Add more detail to my front cover and contents page
- Add different colours to my DPS
