Here is our Draft one of the Digipak. We decided to change the colour pallet and design from our mock up in order to give it a more simplistic and minimalistic vibe which is also very conventional within our genre.

Self assessment in regard to marking criteria:

• We used camera and lighting in order to create some harsh shadows on the artist to give it some more texture and depth when we edited it into black and white. we used the brush tool in photo shop to add the stroke over the artists eyes in order to add some excitement and to change up the cover from being just a photo of the artist standing.
• We could have thought harder about the Mise en scene as the artist had a-lot of jewels on around his neck which you couldn’t see in the photo, however the outfit the artist is in of just a hoodie and a tee shirt is very conventional within the genre.
• We used DTP in order to add the text onto the digipak, first we found a retro looking typeface to put the main title of the album in. This really allowed the colour scheme and fonts to mix together and make the digipak look relatively retro. We Decided to go with a san serif font in order to create a modern and boxy look to contrast the retro text on the title

Targets for improvement:

• change the copyright name to LINEN MOVEMENT instead of WIKINS
• add some more interesting texture to the front cover to make it more interesting and eye catching
• improve the use of photoshop and work more with manipulation adding depth
