After our audience profiling, we made a moodboard on Pinterest to gather pictures, colour schemes and album art that I could use to help with the mise-en-scene of my front cover model and that relates to the genre of my music magazine, that being lyrical rap. The pictures on the moodboard will help me know more about the different styles of dress between their public and stage life/persona. From my moodboard, I found that most rappers put bare minimum into their clothes, evident by them wearing clothes like hoodies, jeans, tank-tops and caps, but I found that most of them had a passion for attractive, expensive shoes such as Nike Air Force 1s and Jordans. Colour schemes around rap weren’t very prominent as rappers like different colours but most like to wear dark colours with white shirts or tank-tops to contrast the rest of their outfit.
