Throughout the production of my magazine I used Indesign and photoshop. This was useful in making my picture look the best it can and then designing my magazine in my own creative way, to add something extra so my magazine.
New skills I learnt:

sharpen areas in my picture
Make eyes and teeth whiter
These two icons above are the two main tools that I used in my production. First is the healing tool- this tool removes imperfections. The second tool is the sharpen tool- this tool sharpens wherever you select to make the image stand out more. These tool are used to help convey the pop genre because they create an image inside the audience’s mind of what pop is all about. The star image being created is a popular and cool image- this is seen in the font, because of how the font stands out from everything else.
–This tool is a tool that I used a lot on indesign. This tool can create effects on selected object to create a better looking object or could completely change the gradient of the object. For me and my genre (pop) this tool can help the text stand out and create a cool, bright, gradient image.
Above are all the photos that I took when I was at Castle Cornet, in my opinion I have met my aims stated because these photos look more professional and crisp than my last shoot. These three are the three most likely to make it into my magazine:

The life of Fabrice Huchard… Fabrice grew up in a loving family home, singing in his local pub until he heard his song being played on the radio: from then on his life hasn’t been the same. ‘I lived on an amazing island where everyone knew everyone’. Fabrice explained how this made him feel like it helped him become the star he is today because everyone he knew was listening to his music and giving him compliments. Fabrice loved to do ordinary daily activities with his friends, including playing basketball and football. Fabrice added a little hint of a secret lover when we discussed his ordinary life with him: ‘Leo and I play football almost everyday and my girlfriend comes to watch me play my matches’. Huchard also loves to go out with friends and enjoy the nightlife where he became great friends with another newly loved star Lewis Capaldi. Capaldi said: ‘I love his songs and he is such a humble young man’. Fabrice explained how ‘it was one of the greatest nights of his life’. After discussing his social life we discussed his future career plans, and we loved them… Hurchard is going on tour all around the US next in June 2020 and in 2021 he is doing a European tour where the dates are to be later released. ‘I would love for my music to be enjoyed and heard all around the world’. There has been rumours that for the US tour he is going to sing a song an unreleased song that is very important and close to his heart. His lyrics can be loved and listened to by a rage of people due to the ‘meaning’ and ‘catchyness’. ‘Without my family I would not be where I am today, they mean so much to me’. By listening to songs of Fabrice’s you can instantly tell how he faces life and will never shy away from a challenge. ‘ We will overcome’, this lyric from one of his songs could suggest how he faces everything with a positive attitude. Finally, we asked Huchard how he is dealing with all the fame, his reply showed us who he truly is: ‘I’m grateful for everything that has happened to me and so thankful for everyone who believed in me, as of yet I am still living on the island I grew up just so I can give back to my community and help in any way needed’. This heartwarming quote leaves us knowing who the real Fabrice Huchard is.

The life of Seanna Hainsworth… All is not what it seems… I sat down with Seanna at her local pub, where it all began and she explained how she grew up in a loving family home, singing in her local pub until she heard her song being played on the radio. She had been discovered at her local pub by a producer, but not just any old producer, Beyonce’s producer: the famous Joe- from then on her life hasn’t been the same. ‘I lived on an amazing island (Guernsey) where everyone knew everyone’. It’s clear that Seanna felt this helped her become the star she is today because everyone she knew was listening to her music and giving her compliments, ‘it was great,I was being congratulated everywhere I went, , even my gran was telling her friends at the Women’s Institute meeting!’.
As a teenager she loved to do ordinary daily activities with his friends, including going to her dance classes. As with all young people, she had the obligatory ‘bestie’, : ‘Amber was and always will be my best friend. Amber and I went to dancing almost everyday and my boyfriend, Brad, comes and watches our performances’. Seanna also loves to go out with friends and enjoy the nightlife where she became great friends with another new mega star Lewis Capaldi. Capaldi said: ‘I love her songs and she is such a humble young lady’. Seanna explained how meeting Lewis Capaldi ‘was one of the greatest nights of her life’ and he has now become a firm friend.

Q Magazine- 10 commandments ‘Wyclef Jean’ published in September 2017
This magazine is written in a first person narrative, this then means that there is no indication of a journalist, so it is from Wyclef Jean, not someone else. This article talks about 10 rappers and musicians rules for life’. Wyclef Jean is a rapper, musician and actor who was born in Haiti but raised in USA.
For this specific type of article which is ‘Top 10’, this narrative shows an interaction with the audience, a clear engagement with whoever is reading, this is so the audience/ reader can fully understand and be apart of what they are reading. The impact which this first person narrative has on the article clearly shows the reader a direct voice and that it is coming directly from Wyclef Jean, this means there is a lot of truth coming from the article and there isn’t any ‘fake news’ because it is coming from one source. If however the voice was third person then you could receive some ‘false news’. Q magazine (the company publishing the article) were very careful and made sure it came from Jean so no reader gets false or inaccurate information.
The article does not include an introduction or a conclusion because it would be repeating itself and by including even more text then there already is would start to bore the reader which could result in a lost consumer for the company (Q magazines). They have also chosen not to include an intro and conclusion because it only wants to talk about factual information in a simplistic way; by going straight to the point of the topic. However, on the other hand, some people may disagree with me and say where there is an image of Wyclef, there is a mini introduction of which there is a quote from him. Due to the structure of the article most readers won’t bother reading the article and conclusion because they are reading the article to find out the information that they are after, so it would actually be a waste of money for the producers of the article because they would have included text that no one will actually read.
In this article, there is no where that mentions the location because it is a very basic article that includes a lot of information: this information is very easy to read because of how the article is set out (with bullet points and short bits of text). Another reason why it is a basic text is because Jean receives questions and then answers them. Due to all the facts, it means that the reader won’t get bored because it is interesting pieces of information again and again: this suit the type of article very well because the reader started to read the article for the information, not for a long story that they do not want or need to read. There are quotes from Wyclef Jean in this article which represents again that it is all factual and true and haven’t come from any other incorrect source, Jean is stating his views, opinions and information about the certain topic.
