During the design process of my draft for my double page spread I learnt various new skills; here are some in which proved vital to my creation.
- To arrange these images on InDesign I right clicked and arranged the images either to send to the back or to the front to ensure all images where layered correctly and were visible.
- Here I remembered to create rectangular boxes and fill them to create a background colour and boxes for behind the images.
- To create integrated text on InDesign, I clicked text wrap and adjusted the settings to decided the width around the box.
- Additionally, I used the PicsArt app on my phone to put a filter on my images and VSCO too add grain to make my images look more vintage to fit my genre.
With these new skills I was able to make my double page spread more conventional and visually exciting.
