However, we had to change our montage as we didn’t have the props available to create it. We changed our montage to covey the feeling of being lost.
Do you think your montage has an impact?
I think my montage has an impact, it clearly conveys the impact of confusion and of being lost. It makes the audience feel stressed as they can tell that the model looks distressed and confused.
Do you get a sense of feeling or story / relationship?
My model is constantly looking lost and confused, she is rushed and looking for a clear sign of direction. It reflects to the audience a clear feeling of being lost and confused.
How does one specified cuts create meaning?
At 0.16 my model looks at her watch, this conveys she is time restricted and is under pressure or running late.
Is there a sense of progression or are you trying just to reflect an experience?
My model is conveying the experience of being lost, this is apparent through her confusion and disorientation of looking for directions.
Do you use repetition of some shots? If so, how do they help communicate your idea?
I used similar shots of her feet repeated, this conveyed the idea of walking everywhere, to try find where to go.
What additional shot would you have liked to get to further communicate the idea?
An additional shot I would like to include would be a shot of my model finding where to go, this would further convey the idea that she was lost but has now found her way. I could have repeated the feet shots to reinforce the idea that she is travelling.
