Below is myself and my groups first draft of our music video:

Overall I would consider the first draft to be a success. We have a wide variety of different shots which highlight the model and convey the look we wanted the music video to have. We experimented with Premiere Pro and ensured our knowledge of the platform was up to par. However for the future shoots we produce, I believe we need to capture more movement shots of our model as we lacked shots in this area.

When reviewing and reflecting how this first draft went, overall I like the use of effects and filters, In my opinion the electro – pop genre has been represented well in this first draft. I think the majority of our lip syncing clips are matched well, and typically the Mise-En Scene we wanted to convey has been illustrated throughout the music video and has also reflected the artists star image positively.

With that being said, there are some improvements that could be made to our video. Some of which are:

• Improving the scale and position  of our artist in certain shots as she isn’t placed well in some clips
• Experimenting more with transitions / video effects to enhance to the electro – pop energy we wish to convey
• Adding more filters and effects throughout
• Ensuring we experiment with more shots as we have stuck to what we know so far, next time I wish to push the boat out with our movement shots so we have more shots to choose from during editing
