Star Image.

For the look of my front cover star, I have taken a lot of inspiration from Jorja Smith, inspiring me to follow through with similar qualities and meta narrative that she holds. Some of these traits which I wish to make prevalent in my cover star image is: confident, fashionable, bold, sassy and overall striking to the eye. I will achieve this by making the models stance strong and her facial expression will be stern and emotionless as I will direct her eyes to be intensely fixated into the camera lense. This will devise a lot of attitude in the image. Smith is seen as not only a fashion icon but an inspiring woman to young girls, this is an attribute which I too, want my model to depict.

On top of this, I want my model to be seen as having that same ‘non-caring’ outlook on life as Smith predominantly portrays through her statement fashion pieces. As a result of this, I will dress my model in daring colours. Following the theme of ‘big and bold’, my model will wear a large but cropped puffer jacket over a skimpy top and baggy trousers. Her makeup will be kept as glossy an shiny as possible. Using gloss as eyeshadow is a current trend which not many people pull off so a will apply that to her lids, matching her lips. Her skin will be infused with a glow, achieved by a strong use of highlighter and strobing makeup products and finally her brows will be kept full and almost messy, as this too is very in right now. My models hair will be tied back in a sleek ponytail, this hairstyle once again portrays confidence and adds a sassy feel to the model, as well as putting the focus on her makeup without the distraction of messy hair. I also have picked out accessories to further enhance and simply add to the costume. Overall I want the paradox of my model to be extraordinary, to stand out from the crowd and to make a statement.
