TEST SHOOT PLAN:

Before beginning my test shoots, I wanted to make sure that I understood the shots that I needed. I made a list of the equipment and everything that I was going to need for my shoot. I was going to use the following section in my test shoots, the lyrics are as follows.

What I need to bring to the shoot?

• Camera, fully charged, with empty memory card
• Tripod
• Mirror

Mise En Scene?

• Blouse
• Jeans
• Hair Down
• Plain face with little makeup

Shots I want to get?

• Close up of her singing the lyrics
• Mid/Long shot of her singing the lyrics
• Her singing the lyrics in the reflection of the mirror (close up)
• Extreme Long shot of her walking through field
• Close up of her feet on grass
• Turning around in field to look back then walking away (long shot)

FOOTAGE: 

Here is the footage that I got from my test shoots, which I have edited into a short sequence of how I want my music video to look when making the real thing. Overall I think that this edit worked well and I was happy with how it worked out.

EVALUATION:

Overall I was very happy with how my test shoot turned out.

What Went Well:

• I got lots of shots of varying variety and had plenty to work with.
• I was organised and has everything that I needed on the day.
• The lip sync worked well with the music and I managed to sync it well.
• I think that the content is engaging
• It is edited to the beat
• It suits the genre of music.

Even Better If:

• I think that my pan and track shots could have been a bit smoother.
• I could have used more effects and filters
• I could have added some text
• I think that I needed to dip the last video to black so that it faded out more naturally
• I think parts of it could have had a faster pace of edit.
• I could have added more close ups for example of the feet walking
