What Was I Tasked With?

I was tasked to find different images of rapper Drake and see how is perceived through things like:

• News Articles
• Public Appearances
• Social Media

I also had to gather images of clothing specific to what I would like my star to wear and how to pose, this is called ‘Star Image’

What Have I Learnt?

I have learnt that stars can create a certain representation for themselves by the way they act in front of audiences. They are not always good representations.

How Will This Help Me In The Future?

This will help me in future as I now know how to give my star either a positive or negative representation to the audience I would like to attract.

Dyer’s Star Theory- Dyer proposes that: A star is an image of a real person that is constructed (as any other aspect of fiction is) out of a range of materials.

Meta narrative- Cool, Ambitious, Talented, Fashionable, Inspirational, Hard Working, Aggressive in some cases,  Star, Not Very Connected With The Rest Of Normality,  Charismatic.
