Final Pitch To Teacher

Component 3, Music Video

To gather feedback from our teacher to ensure our music video plan is effective and easy to replicate, we had a discussion about our final pitch, gaining positive feedback and helpful criticism. During our discussion about our vision, we went over our planned narrative structure and type, MES and performance to ensure that they fit with our chosen genre and effectively portray our star image. By having a discussion with our teacher, it has given us targets to aim for, allowing us to replicate our final plan in an organised manner.

OUR SLIDESHOW WE PITCHED TO OUR TEACHER

A VIDEO OF OUR PITCH/DISCUSSION WITH OUR TEACHER

POSITIVES FROM OUR PITCH:

  • Our chosen locations for our shoot are specific and conventional to our chosen genre.
  • As a result of our detailed planning, we will be able to portray our narrative effectively.
  • During our pitch, we were able to expand on our ideas as our teacher challenged us on our plan, making our ideas clearer and easier to portray.
  • Our chosen song choice correlates well with our narrative structure.
  • Aspects of MES (our costume ideas) will help get our narrative across to our target audience effectively.

THINGS TO IMPROVE ON:

  • Consider having a different performer to the singer to prevent confusion during the production of our shoot.
  • Before our actual shoot, we need to ensure we have planned costumes and props to help our shoot run smoothly.
  • Try to stick to one clear narrative to prevent confusion and an indistinct portrayal of our narrative.
  • When filming our party scene, we need to make sure all participants are fully prepared, this means having organised outfits and props ready.
  • To ensure that there are three clear, distinct different scenes in our music video.
