So far I have developed my knowledge of mise-en- scene through the images I have taken for my magazine which I believe have proved conventional of the indie pop genre, for example the costume of my cover star included a floral blouse and lots of vintage jewellery reflecting the indie pop genre fully.
Additionally, when creating my magazine I came up with the idea of having a logo to ensure my magazine was recognisable not just by it’s name. The logo is a silhouette of the iris flower, hence the magazine name ‘Iris’.
Finally, I have significantly expanded my knowledge on Photoshop and InDesign which is shown on my Design Skills posts.
Overall I have learnt an array of new skills to help design the most conventional magazine for the indie pop genre.
