• Pug: Small insights of what in the magazine such as competitions

• Insets and captions: Information on the photographs who in turn feature in the magazine.

Understanding the base parts of a magazine is important to know for when I make my own, this is so mine will look professional and follow technical design conventions to make an enticing and interesting cover.
