First Draft of lip syncing performance:

Self Assessment:

Overall this first draft is just a rough cut of a performance aspect of our music video. As we focused on the performance part of our video, this limited what we could do as a lot of our video is based off of narrative. For a first draft I think we did quite well as all the lip syncing is in time and we added a few effects. Our shots are also good quality and the actor shows passion and emotion through facial expressions and body language in particular. However this will need a lot of work as we are still getting used to the programme and learning new skills on editing. I believe that with more time our music video has very good potential for the future.

Targets for improvement:

• We need to work more on transitions and adding effects to our shots. This will help our video to run smoother and to make sure our video is to a high standard.
• We will also be doing another shoot which we will need to think more about different angles and using more of a variety of different shots.
• It will be good to have a clear idea of what editing effects we want to use as it will need to fit in with the mood of our video and not have too many effects that it seems out of place.
