REFLECTION:
In groups of 3 we were to create and demonstrate our understandings of a narrative sequence. We firstly started off by planning a storyboard showing the key events of what we wanted to show, in our case it was ‘opening a locker’. We were sure to include different camera angles and a variety of shots so that we would have a wide choce to choose from when editing. We wanted our montage to have a tense atmosphere and to have mysterious music in the background to help convey the narrative. Furthermore, when it came to editing, we all participated and ensured that each shot was in order and adjusted to how we wanted it to look like.
FOCUS FORWARD:
By amplifying our own mini montage it gives us a taster to what it takes to make a music video and what we need to include for it to be successful. I feel that this will help me further to develop my editing skills as well as filming, and will allow me to be able to convey the narrative correctly.
