The Audiences Interaction with a Website…

 

In the video below, me and the rest of the group analysed the website for the band we created our music video for; Blossoms, as we felt this would make the most sense to take inspiration from considering they cover the exact same genres as our music video and digipak that will be hosted by the website.

In terms of tools we used to look at this website, Blumler and Katz theory of uses and gratifications came in handy as helping us understand how the website uses personal identity, entertainment, social interaction and information. Along with this we will be using AIDA (attraction, interaction, design, call to action) and the genre of indie rock, which altogether help us entify/pick out the right conventions to go in our own website when we get to creating it.
