Print Media that Communicates Meaning

When doing my analysis of the tour poster I learnt that every photo will have denotations and connotations. Denotations is the picture having things happening in them. Connotations is the meaning of what is happening in the photo. From using these techniques I can see what the message is in the photo or in this case what message the tour poster is trying to give the audience without actually telling them.

From learning this it should help me towards producing my music magazine, making it a quality piece of work that could be put on sale like a real one. I know that the type of font, colour and images I use will have an impact on what style I am going for and what the reader thinks of it and the type of media I am targeting.
