In one of our lessons, two men from specsavers within the media sector came in to help us and give us suggestion relating to our music video and editing techniques.
Feedback
- Good use of mes en scene, however try and link all the colours so it is obvious it is all meant to be in the same music video telling one narrative.
- Good variety of shots, but try and shorten some of them so they don’t last too long.
- Amazing close-ups which help the audience engage with the star. Try to crop out anything unwanted in the background.
What they showed us
- They showed us how we could edit the colour of the paint in our videos.
- We were taught how to crop the video so all the mess in the background was no longer in it.
- The man also showed us how to add a layer in which we can add a filter to give the clip a different meaning.
