Draft 1- Feedback

For the feedback on our draft 1, I recorded other media students and got their opinions on what they thought could be improved and what we had done well. Due to the lack of footage that we had filmed our draft 1 is only 12 seconds long. So, our main priority is to film the rest of our scenes at the different locations in order to fill up the song with footage for both the performance and narrative.

I collected feedback through YouTube comments, video recordings of another media student and also a feedback sheet.

After watching our draft 1, one of my peers filled in the feedback sheet on the certain objectives of what we did well and what didn’t meet up to the best we could. Our shots are well composted and we use a variation of happy and sad emotion shots which illustrates the genre. However to improve we need use more varied shots and make them more clear to what is going on in them. As our draft 1 is quite short with the rest of our footage it should come together and make more sense to the audience, but this is where we needed to improve.

I collected feedback from another one of my fellow media students and got some constructive criticism.

From this I learnt that we used a good variety of shots however it is too short.

Our targets for draft 2 are to make sure we make it longer. We include more footage and get in our performance shots and make sure that the rest of the narrative has been filmed and edited into the music video. During the re filming, make sure that we vary our shots and use a wider range.
