In order to create a good music video, I needed to practice filming and editing. To do this I worked in a group of three and we made a 30 second video which included a variety of shots. Before filming this video we wrote a storyboard where we planned the types of shots we wanted to include in order to convey the narrative. In this storyboard we chose shots such as cut to close up, jump cuts and match on action. After putting the storyboard into action and recording the video, we then had to edit it using a software called premiere pro.

Focusing forward this task will help me when producing my own music video because it has taught me new things such as how to edit a video using premiere pro. This will make it a lot easier when I come to editing my music video because I now know how to edit for a narrative sense.
