This is my video analysis for Katy Perrys hit single Chained to the rhythm, by analysing this music video it has shown me how professionals use camera, editing and mise-en-scen to communicate meaning to convey a fun narrative for people to watch. We also see the how the directors portray the star image via the choreographed dancing and lip-synced performance which shows amplification and a bit of illustration in the narrative of the video. Having analysed this music video for MES, camera and editing, it has helped me to understand different parts and will help me in future to make my own music video.
