Introduction:

In this task I had to create a second draft of my Contents Page and make improvements from my first draft. I have changed important and added and changed important aspects that my first draft didn’t have. By doing this I am am reflecting of advice given and taking it into consideration when improving my work.

What I changed:

I like the improvements I have made to my 2nd Draft of my Contents Page as it is different and isn’t to complicated so the reader knows exactly whats going on. Below I have put down all the changes and additions I have done:

• I changed the main star on my Contents Page as the picture in my first draft I felt didn’t work as well and didn’t look very clear.
• I also changed the font of the page numbers so they were more bold and so there was more of a variety of fonts.
• I added some page numbers so the page didn’t seem so empty
• I added the page number on the bottom right hand corner as I had forgotten to do this in my first draft.
• I also added an extra to do with the picture I used for my Contents Page at the bottom left to give the reader more of an insight of what will be inside my magazine.

Although I am happy with my Contents Page at this point there is still improvements I can make before finalizing my work.

Whats next?:

• I could make the star image bigger to make her stand out more
• Make ‘Contents’ bigger
• Could add another page, quote or cover-line to fill up some space
• Could add some more colour to make it more colourful and not the same two/three colours throughout
