Final Draft:

Below I have embedded the final draft of our music video where we have taken into account all of the feedback we were given from various different people to make our music video the best it can be.

Reflection:

As a group we worked well together to complete our music video as we all took roles to make sure everyone put in an equal amount of effort. The actors who were involved with out video did a very goo job with there facial expressions and body language throughout. They also had to go through a lot as we did quite a few shoots. We spent a lot of our time and money working on our filming and our mise-en-scene which was all worth it in the end. The costumes and setting of the Underground Hospital cost us a lot more then expected but so this was something we had to consider as a group. The vibrant colours of the costumes created a contrast to the setting as it was very dark and dingy. Our narrative and performance conveys the lyrics and song well and clear as the audience will be able to appreciate it.

Throughout the process of creating our final product we had many different chances to gain feedback from peers, professionals from Specsavers and our teacher. This was useful as it gave us a new perspective and good feedback on what we had done well and what we needed to work on. The constructive criticism we were given, such as colour correction, helped us to complete the finishing touches to finalize our music video.

The editing process was a learning curve for everyone in the group as we had never done anything like this before. We got taught editing skills from our teacher and professionals from the Specsavers creative team. These were very useful as we learnt new skills using Adobe PremierePro which we can use later on in the future.

Although our final project is the best to our ability we did go through some issues when filming and preparing for our shoot. We had problems with cameras and during the start of our filming we had to change our main star. To prevent this from happening again we should have been more prepared as it ended up being very time consuming for us and the star image. This shows we were able to overcome and dedicate ourselves to this music video.
