Story Board:

For my digital technology I wanted to film a successful video; I have done this by creating a narrative sequence. I started with making a story board which was based on a locker, doing this allows me to clearly see what shots and order my film will have. Using this plan helps as I know what shot (eg. high, low angle) I want for each scene. This plan will allow the shoot to run smoothly.

What went well:

-We used a variety of shots

-We conveyed the narrative

-Created an atmosphere which builds suspense

-Added transitions towards the end

-Good range of continuity

Even better if:

– We could have added more sound effects for example, when the actor had keys in her hand which could added slashing mental noises

-Once scene didn’t aline properly where her hand opens the door twice

-The camera was tilled, next time secure it on the tripod more

 

Focusing forward, I now know what I can do to improve my skills; I have learnt that using a range of shots, angles and lighting can have a big impact on what I film. To achieve a high grade I will use this to my advantage to create the right atmosphere when making my music video.
