Above is our narrative development document, this will allow an understanding of the narrative that we are aiming to shoot. The narrative structure is similar to that of many popular music videos. The equilibrium shows Toby trying to distract himself from the grief he is experiencing. The disruption is where Toby can’t distract himself no matter how many activities he tries. The resolution is where Toby gets rid of the necklace and can finally enjoy himself. The new equilibrium is him able to get along with his friends and have fun where he couldn’t before. The narrative structure will be linear mainly as it will go in chronological order, following his journey to happiness. However it could also be described as Episodic as he returns to the places he was at before he was happy again and the video will stick to its key locations and will be thematically linked.
