The key purpose of a music video is to promote the artist and represent the specific star image to the audience. How the star image is conveyed will determine the likeableness of the star which will lead to a bigger audience and overall success of the product.

As a group we researched through social media platforms eg. instagram comments, tweets and posts and we discovered how Buffalo Huddleston represent their star image to their audience. We found that their star image holds a natural, genuine and laid back vibe.

Moving forward we will work to constructing our digipak, social media page and music video in a way that our star image is coherent across the products. We will do this be carefully looking into the conventions and repertoire of elements that our audience will be engaged by. We have built a costume for our performance that represents our genre of folk pop nicely and will edit our work in a way that fits perfectly.
