Digi-Pack Conventions

This is my details analysis of the digi-pack ‘An Awesome Wave’ by Alt-J. This digi-pack is very interesting because there aren’t any words on the front cover so no one would know who the album is by when then initially pick up the album without looking inside it and on the back cover which has all the songs and the band’s name on it.

The target audience that the album will be attracting will be the kind of hip/ indie youth that listen to this kind of music. Due to this the bands that fit into this genre have to make their album covers as abstract as possible to attract their target audience.

The star image of the band is shown as quite indie and hip, they are up to date with the times and make music to reflect this with their different sound and distinctive voices.
