A tool that particularly stands out to me that the specsavers team showed us was the adjustment layer. When you apply the adjustment layer, it will apply all of the selected effects to any clips below the layer. I found this to be helpful as it will save myself and my group a lot of time during editing, which leaves us with more time to cut down the clips and edit to the beat of the music.  In addition to that, another i found to be very useful was the mask tool, when you apply the mask tool. The mask tool allows us to merge different clips and move them around the frame creating unique outcomes. The team stated that they liked what they had seen from our video so far due to the fact that at the time we had not edited or cut a lot of our clips yet.

Earlier this week, we had some of the creative team from the Digital Greenhouse come in to answer any questions we had about editing and equally to look our all of our videos. One of the team members stated that she liked our song and enjoyed watching our video. However a piece of advice she gave to our group was to quicken the pace of edit to when the beat drops to mimic the beat. An interesting tool that the team showed us was how to ensure all of our clips are at a perfect brightness and exposure. The team explained in detail how this can be done, which is by: Creating an adjustment layer and ensure all of the shadowing and white on the clip are of a correct level of lighting, contrasting and exposure. I believe this will be beneficial for our group and will once again save us a lot of hassle and time during editing.
