Below, is the third draft of our music video. Overall, our music video has improved and we can visually see this as we look through the different drafts of it. Due to adding another shoot into this draft, the narrative is coming together and making more sense to the viewers. Despite the clear improvement of our music video, towards the end is messed up due to the sound saving wrong on our drive. We will have to fix this mistake, but also work on improvements for our next and final draft.
To ensure that our music video is to the best of our ability, we showed our peers in the class, and asked them to assess the work we have done so far.
PEER ASSESSMNET:
- good mise en scene that fits the upbeat vibe of the song.
- Interesting use of editing to the beat.
- nice locations used.
- good emotion on actors face, in narrative.
- Just need to fill in the gaps and fix the bit at the ned which is off.
TARGETS FOR IMPROVEMENT:
- trim the song so that the amount of footage we have fits into the music without any gaps.
- Add in more editing to the beat of the music as it keeps the feeling of the song up and interesting.
- Adjust some of the narrative clips so that the storyline of it fits in well alongside the performance clips.
- add effects onto the clips so that you can easily tell the past from the present.
