It is important that I get a good understanding of this terminology as my group will be designing our own social media page and to get the best marks we must understand what makes a good social media page. The importance of a social media page to an artist or band cannot be understated. It is used for promotion, marketing, audience interaction and branding to create a star image. With a strong brand, an audience will be attracted and the social media age can be used to reach a target audience and the artist/band can create content which aligns with their preferred reading.
