• the lyrics fit with our theme of wanting to be different and individual
• there is a catchy and basic beat
• the song covers a dark subject but the music makes the subject seem lighthearted and happy
• there is an obvious change in the music where the character can change her mood and morals – a real climax to the song
• our ideas fit and we have a vision to flow with the song
