In this post I accessed an artist’s social media page to see how they promote and market their music and how they target an audience. I also analyzed the technical conventions of an Instagram page and considered how these can increase engagement across fanbases, show star image and help and audience to feel connected to an artist. This was an extremely helpful task because it helped me to consider what attracts and draws new and current fans in.
