Media is a topic that I have always been interested in, and I knew I wanted to study it in sixth form.

As media has been growing over the years becoming more and more popular, I really want to learn the different ways it impacts society and how it’s produced during the time I spend in media studies. By using skill I already have, like photography and posting media, I can put that towards my learning and help to create my own media content. I would like to learn about different styles of media and how the attract different audiences, exploring new idea of what media could look like and how its transformed over the years.

I often take photos and edit pictures by using filters or effects, this adds to the skills I already have and how I can incorporate them into my learning. I can’t wait to expand my skills and ideas on media studies throughout the next year.
