Reflection

In reflection I think the music video has improved after our recent shoots, we now have multiple shots of the narrative and have made huge improvements. However I believe there is still many changes to be made. Firstly I’m going to change the timing of the cuts to match the beat of the music, and some of the clips can be moved around to improve the tempo and to communicate the narrative to the audience better.

I also think there needs to be a change to the colours in the clips, I will be testing out the colour correction to make the clips suit the narrative, I can change the clips to black and white to communicate sadness and the character feeling numb, some shots I can cut around the blue sky or the blue background to enhance the colour blue, as the colour blue is linked with sadness fitting with the theme. After the recent shoots we now have all the footage we need to fill the video and there’s been a big improvement of the quality of footage from our last draft.
