Music Video Draft 4
Reflection
After the feedback I received on my draft 3, I have changed a couple of things for this next draft. I added some captions, due to a lot of blank space in some of the clips. I also edited a lot of black and white into the video to display the way the performer is feeling during this and to demonstrate how I can use editing to communicate meaning to the audience.
For my next draft I will carry on doing more of the same things that I changed for this draft to make sure that I’m satisfied with the way it looks.

For this task we brought together a variety of shots and angles which are conventional in a music video which we may use, we will look at this list while filming to experiment different shots and angles for our video.
Production Meeting for Shoot 1
For our first shoot we have decided that the actors won’t be dressing up with makeup and props, just normal outfits would fit the song and our idea better.

Final Song Choice
Why Did We Choose This Song?
The reason why we chose this song is because my partner pitched his idea for this song and I believed that it was a good idea. We both have a clear idea of what the music video will be about and the song fits our idea perfectly and we have a venue perfect for this. The sad tone and the lyrics would work well with a music video of a couple splitting up and becoming more distant, the line “lost in the blue” is repeated a few times in the video and has given us more options for what we can do with this video.
