I can analyse a music magazine. For this task we had to pick a music magazine cover out of different options with different genres. I chose the Billboard magazine. I analyzed the main visual aspects of the magazine such as the colours, fonts, cover star and language. I also looked at the audience demographic and psyhographic of the magazine to see who it was targeted for and who would be buying it.
What I have learnt from this task is that when making a magazine, in this case a music magazine you need to have a attractive cover that will target the audience you want but you also have to use certain language and font that will attract the right audience demographic. This will help me when making a magazine as it will impact my decisions.
