I have made a Prezi presentation on a star which I think best suits my genre of my Music Magazine. My star image is Harry Styles as I feel he has a similar target audience to me and he has the ideal image for me. A theory of which we studied, Richard Dyer’s Theory of Paradox of The Star. Through his talented career of being in a world class boy band and then following onto a new path of a solo artist, Harry Styles is represented as ordinary through his work with charities and communities globally, his drive to always helping through his own good will. He is also extraordinary through his talent around the world in his singing career. He is active on the social medias which he is a part of, regularly uploading in order to stay connected with his fans. His metanarrative of which he presents is through the following topics:

• appearance
• articles
• social media

Above is a mood board of ideas I have created portraying what I want my model to wear in my shoot. Having all of my ideas put together like this has allowed me to select the final ideas which I have put together on the image below.

I will like my models hair to be curled and either tied up or left down showing a natural look but also to make her look presentable.  I would like her makeup to be bright and bold, standing out in my images, this will display a vibrant look which is typically seen on many magazine covers, it will represent her bold character. My model will also be wearing a few pieces of jewellery, not to blingy due to the fact my aim is for it not to be the centre of attention, many pop stars wearing massive dimante chains which is a representation of their career earning a lot of money, my star image wont be represented in this way.  I will be adding a subtle prop of a lollipop in my shoot this may create a vision of intimacy within my model. From my research I have noticed that many magazines included props within their shoot so I felt as if it was important for inclusion to present the same idea. The outfit of which my model will wear will be simple and covered up due her modesty and to it being in a respectable environment, she will portray a trendy look.
