This is the first draft of my double page spread sheet, which I created on indesign. I used bright vibrant colours to make it eye catching for my audience. I also used particular typefaces to help fit my genre of hip-hop. For my cover star featured in the first page of my double spread sheet I made sure to use a particular image which signifes my genre (e.g. the mic and the hand gestures), also the particular shot I used signifies bright colours which helps make it stand out for my audience. I also used bright colours featured in my second page which helps the key information stand out for my audience. Doing this has allowed to see what I need to add and what I did well.
What I like:
- I like the particular fonts I used for my magazine, as it helps represent my genre.
- I find that the images that I used work really well for my genre
- I like the background I used as it stands out because it is signified in a bright colour.
What I need to do next:
- I need to make sure everything is in line
- I used to many colours which will make it confusing for my audience on where to look at so I will use less bright colours.
- I need to write the key information.
- use more less different fonts
- make the image bigger in my second page to make stand out more for my audience.
