Reflection
After reflecting on the peer feedback that we received, as a group, we decided not to alter or adjust the video from the previous draft. We felt there was a perfect balance of performance and narrative that worked cohesively together; with the glamourous performers signifying our star’s change and the star’s ideology being illustrated through the narrative. The detail within the mise-en-scene was highlighted through the use of colour correction which amplified the quality of our video. We used a variety of shots which were taken at various angles and distances with the use of framing. The editing reflects our creativity; by adding in special effects and transitions, as well as editing to the beat and lining up the lip sync to the song. Editing clips to the beat allowed our video to have a good upbeat pace. Overall I am happy with what my group has produced as a music video. With all our best efforts, I feel it is at a high standard with good quality and successfully fits in with our chosen genre of Indie Pop.
