ADVICE
There are some revision posts in classroom and we will be going over the Music Industry in the 2nd half of next week and TV drama on your return after half-term.
You will have to revise in the half-term otherwise you won’t be prepared.
In particular, if you did not engage with distance learning during lockdown for the Music Industry module, then you will have to really focus on catching up on this. Go back through the blog posts from start to finish.
You should all ensure that you have completed the marketing essay and got feedback, otherwise you will be writing your first ever Music Industry Essay in the exam and that could be tough.
If you haven’t completed Fargo, this should be a priority too, in order to get feedback.
It will be a 2 hour exam:
TV Drama
- 30 minutes to watch the clip and make notes
- 45 minutes to write up the analysis
Music Industry
- 45 minutes to write an essay on either
- Digital Distribution or
- Cross Media Convergence.
We will be creating 2 presentations with precise Case Studies for each of the topic areas – you will need to know the case studies, use all the relevant terms and most of all, discuss and respond to the question and show you understand the Big Ideas about the music industry i.e. globalisation, digitalisation, democratisation etc.
