The test shoot has helped me to develop my current skills and also learn some more. I was able to clearly understand the concept of premier pro by editing our videos and adding transitions into our test shoot. During production, we tried to gather a collection of shots, varying from close ups to long shots that allowed us to get enough coverage to create a lip sync clip. This has helped us to improve our skills ready for our actual music video.

What went well:

• We were able to gather a variety of shots
• We were able to edit most of the clips efficiently
• We matched the lip syncing with the song well

What didn’t go well:

• We struggled to include sufficient transitions that worked
• In some shots you can see that camera shaking

What have we learnt for next time:

• We must get even more shots of the performer moving through the frame, extreme close ups and long shots
• we must practise our editing transitions and improve them as they don’t correlate with our theme well.
