Social media is a form or marketing and promotion as well as the creation of a star image. An app such as Instagram allows artists to convey aspects of their life that they are willing to convey, alongside promoting albums, tours and singles. Through doing this I also learnt many terms which have helped me gain a better understanding of the importance of using social media as a star.
