Targets for improvement :

To improve our social media page my first step will be to change the year of the tour for our artists new album, secondly we change the ‘veiws’ story, we will then need to post about the new album dropping and we could potentially do this by using our Digipak. This will be followed on by another merchandise release potentially in the form of something other than clothes to differentiate between our star’s general merchandise and the merchandise for this particular album. We will then need to add in another link to Spotify for the release of her new album and a link to the song ‘me and my husband’.

Florence Welch’s Instagram PageThrough making this short google slides presentation focusing on the initial account page and one post from Florence Welch I learnt many ways in which social media impacts a star. Social media is a form or marketing and promotion as well as the creation of a star image. An app such as Instagram allows artists to convey aspects of their life that they are willing to convey, alongside promoting albums, tours and singles. Through doing this I also learnt many terms which have helped me gain a better understanding of the importance of using social media as a star.
