Narrative sequence task
Reflection
Story board- Firstly we made a story board to plan the different shots and angles we were going to use when filming our sequence. By doing this helped us remember what angles were what for each scene. It was important to film a variety of shots so when it came to editing and making our sequence we had various clips which would link and fit well together.
Tripod- By using a tripod helped us get the best possible footage by keeping the camera steady. It allows you to set the camera at the right height in order to catch the right shot. It helps you frame the shot perfectly while also being able to easily move the camera if you are doing specific shots for example a dolly or track.
Using Premier- Premier helped me to organize my clips in the correct order and smoothly make them into a sequence. By the use of different effects and transitions it helped me to connect all my clips together. I had to organize my clips in the correct order to make sure they make sense to the narrative and story line.
Overall making this sequence helped me have a better understanding of using a tripod and using premier to film separate clips to then editing them all together. I learnt how to assemble and use a tripod correctly and learn how different angles and shot are key features to think abut when filming a sequence. I learnt the importance of filming to edit as it made the post-production process easier.
