Evaluation Question 7 – Looking back at your preliminary task, what do you feel you have learnt in the progression from it to the full product?
Evaluation Question 6 – What have you learnt about technologies from the process of constructing this product?
Evaluation Question 5 – How do you attract/address your audience?
Evaluation Question 4 – ‘Who would be the audience for your media product?’
‘Who would be the audience for your media product?’
The idea behind this task was to show how we could use a variety of media to complete the task. We have made a presentation along with a voice thread of our group talking over the presentation explaining our thoughts and how our product would attract our target audience.
Evaluation question 3 – What kind of media institution would distribute your media product and why ?
This presentation is an answer Kris Guillou and I have prepared for Evaluation Question 3. As part of our coursework we explored what distribution entailed and from this task I gained a clearer understanding of distribution and how different films can be distributed in many different ways.
The key things I have learnt:
- What a film distributer is
- Methods of production
- The big 6 of distribution
- What decisions distributers have to make
Evaluation Question 2 – How does your media product represent particular social groups?
Evaluation Question 1 – In what ways does your media product use, develop or challenge forms and conventions of real media products?
Final Draft – Transient
This is my final draft for my thriller.
Final Targets
We received this targets from our teacher for our final thriller. These final tweaks we will make on our draft 4.
Transient
- Edit of the title– zoom into head then title on black THEN kit walking downstairs – the sequencing is a bit weird at the moment
- Make sure you are only using the drunk effect on POV shots otherwise it’s weird. This effect works quite well expect on the walking down the stairs inside the market shot (before they are running) where it’s quite nauseating as that shot is long.
- Can you put a cut to black at the end just to finish off the sequence.
- That wall that kit is next to looks nothing like the wall he’s then running next to- it therefore becomes more of a hindrance than a help.
We will take the constructive comments onboard and improve our thriller before the final export.
