Production Meeting For Shoot 1

Introduction

For this task me and my partner had to plan for our for ever music video shoot. Most other groups took this chance to get their performace done but as mine and Archie’s music video was a purely narritive sequence we decided that would would put our greenscreen practices to use and get that out the way first whilst we could borrow the sixth forms green screen. This shoot I aim to be smooth and pretty simple as I will just be sat on a chair making expressions, holding props and costume changing whilst Archie takes control of the filming and telling me what looks good.

Me and Archie composed a Production Meeting Agenda for out first shooting on a Docs this is our plan in furhter detail:

Reflection

We decided to use the black studio as our location to film. Not only this we thought a bit about how we would include our MES. For the models costume as a tired, overworked office worker I thought that a classic black pensil skirt and blazer would work well along with a white blouse underneeth although the blowse won’t be as smart than in the photo we used in this plan to imply she has no time to take pride in herself and appearance.

To complete the models main look we decided for her hair to be in a messy bun to represent how tired she is, and that she does not even give herself any self care. Lastly for her makeup we definaly want to exagerate her eye bags hugely so the audience is able to recognise her sheer amount of sleep she allows herself. However I also want her to have noticably, badly done mascara as at the end of the day this woman is still ambitous and will still take pride in her appearance in some aspect being a women who works in an office. The clumpy smugged marscara will almost suggest to her choatic, hectic, rush of a moring. It will also illude the idea she may be rubbing her eyes quite a lot from feelings of fustration, exhuastion and stress.

Whilst the model is on her journey on the chair she has a series of encouters where each aquaintence she makes hands her something to make her feel better so we made sure to write down all the items we needed so that would could record a montage of me holding each one as well as a load of costume changes for when she encounters the fashiondesigner/makeup artist.

I think I feel pretty confident and prepared for this shoot however there is a lot of stuff to aquire and bring which is doable but this will be a challenge. Lastly I need to asemble a lot of different fun rave outfits which is something we haven’t put on the plan as it will be easier for me to be able to look at what clothes I have at home and what outfits I can come up with there as there will be many outfits.
