Digipak – Digital Mock Up – Feedback

Digipak Digital Mock Up:

After proceeding with creating our first draft of our digipak, we sought out collecting feedback for our digital mock up, which we printed out and inserted into a case. We realised immediately that our digital mock up was lacking any specific features that could be associated with our group. This was partially intentional in that we were mainly experimenting with general look of our digipak. The most important aspects were the colour and the arrangement of images. I interview 2 students, Ryan and Sebastian.

Feedback – Ryan:

Feedback – Sebastian:

Positives:

  • Good use of colour on the inside of the digipak
  • The use of colour in general

Suggestions

  • Own meta-narrative
  • Include more graphics

Notes and Analysis:

One note to include would be that we knew our digital mock up was not going to be that representative of our ideas. This is because our idea is centred totally around the use of an image which at the moment, does not exist. Our design is centred around several images that will be created manually by my group and I, with the use of Adobe Illustrator. Taking this into consideration, it was difficult to gain any specific feedback for our digital mock up. Instead we just reaffirmed our idea to incorporate a vast range of colour in our digipak draft 1.
